Community Centre - New Project
Dear Beloved Child of the Most High God
The Shri Suria-Narayan Temple of Phoenix has adopted the vision ' Save the lost at no cost'. With this vision in heart, our organisation has embarked on a brand new project of building an Auditorium, adjacent to our main Temple, so as to cater for the large gatherings at our various festivals and also for providing our community with a much needed venue for holding functions like weddings and ceremonies, dancing and music classes etc.
Firstly, our organisation is committed throughout the year, to feeding every person that attends our prayer festivals, a Feeding Hall will certainly allow us to comfortably seat and feed the hundreds of devotees in attendance at all festivals.
Secondly, the Youth of today are more creative and passionate than ever before, which is why we want to provide a safe venue for them to meet and engage in activities of Sport and Recreation, wherein they can grow into the fullest and best that God has created them to be.
Thirdly, and most importantly, one of the greatest assets of our faith and culture is the Senior Citizens of our community, who offer wisdom, prayer and spiritual mentoring to the congregation at large. They need a place wherein various activities can be conducted specifically for them so that they would know that they are not forgotten and that they are an important part of Gods’ plan to equip and empower the next generation with vision and purpose.
An appeal is being made to Hindus all over South Africa assist in whatever way you can in either kind or cash to help fulfill our dream. If you are able to contribute R10 a month for the next year it will be much appreciated and we pray for an abundance of divine blessings to flow to you and your family. In addition to this we will be undertaking various fundraising activities during the next year for the project.
Please contact us directly for any contributions that you would like to make.
